Vandals cut down trees
Vandals broke five 12ft-tall trees on Saturday night that had just been planted in Kingston Road, Staines, near the Dog and Partridge pub.
The mature London plane saplings, which had been snapped, and were worth about £1,000. Thirty London planes were planted in total and eight have now been broken.
In seperate incidents, 12 further cherry, birch and alder saplings have been snapped or uprooted in Hythe Park, Egham Hythe over the past few months.
