Egham mystery car vanishes without trace
A 'mystery' car that residents thought had been abandoned vanished without trace.
Residents in Lynwood Avenue complained to police and the council after the one year-old black Honda Jazz remained in the road, where parking spaces are hard to find during term time, throughout September, with no sign of the owners.
The car vanished without trace overnight in early October.

While I appreciate the validity of your comments, this area of the website is specific to the Egham community and is aimed to provide news to interest them.
I was emailed recently by a resident who had read the original story (http://www.stainesnews.co.uk/staines-and-ashford-news/news-staines-and-ashford/2009/09/28/anger-at-car-dumped-at-parking-hotspot-54472-24801028/) and was enquiring as to what had happened to the car.
These hyperlocal sites are dedicated to all news issues, even those some people might not consider newsworthy. Obviously this update won't feature in print form for the very reason you have stated.
