As part of the Queen's Jubilee Celebrations, St John's Church, Egham will be hosting a Cream Tea and Concert on Sunday, June 3rd.

A charity ball in aid of Help for Heroes takes place at the Runnymede on Thames Hotel on Saturday, November 20 at 7.15pm.

A champagne reception will be followed by live swing music and a disco. Theme is black tie with a splash of red.

Charity walkers will be donning pink clothes and fancy dress for a charity walk on Runnymede meadow on Sunday, October 10.

The event, the second Runnymede Autumn 5km Walk, kicks off at 11am with competitors running, or walking, the course with an aim to raising £6,000 for Cancer Research UK.

The St John's Church is organising a holiday club with fun activities as well as religious learning.

The Xpedition Force Holiday Club for five to 11-year-olds is free and runs from Monday, August 23 until Friday, August 27 at the church and features music, games, drama, crafts and exploring the bible.

Blood donors are needed for donation sessions on Friday, August 13 at Egham Youth Centre, in the high street.

Two sessions organised by the NHS will take place from 12.45pm until 3.30pm, then from 5pm until 7.30pm.

More than 3,000 books will be available to browse during a book, cd and video stall in the High Street on Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17.

The event, organised by United Church of Egham, runs from 6.30pm until 9pm on Friday and from 8.30am until 12.30pm on the Saturday.
